No. Hepatitis C (HCV) is not considered a sexually transmitted infection (STI). However, it can be transmitted through blood-to-blood contact during sex. HCV is a blood borne virus, and is found in blood, not sexual fluids. The risk of getting HCV through sex is low.
What do I need to do if I been exposed to HIV?
If you think you have been exposed to HIV you need to ACT FAST! If you are not already taking PrEP, there is a medicine called PEP that will reduce your risk of getting HIV.
